You will receive only what you need
If you are not discovering new information regarding God and Jesus is because you don’t want more .
And why don’t you want more? i don’t know.
If you belong to a church of X denomination and you think you have arrived to the truth you are mistaken, no church has all the correct doctrine,that is because it’s up to you to reveal what God has for you not the church or denomination.
You have to keep on growing and sometimes that means leaving the church and finding another church or denomination . There are no bad churches because each church will teach you good things and bad , and both are necessary to grow.
If you really want to know more about God and Jesus, be like the men that opened a hole on the roof of a house to get a sick man trough to reach Jesus that was inside, they did not stop because there was an obstacle they managed to find a way. That is the same way to grow spiritually , you have to kick your way in. It’s the passion that will move you, if you don’t have the passion ask God why.
Spiritual growth in this earth ends when you die but after death it keeps on going , you still have to learn, you will never learn by knowing something, that is just showing you the way, you learn and it’s engraved into your soul when you live it, even if you have already died.
The after death life is not what is traditionally thought, it’s dynamic and a lot of hard work, you keep on learning by experience.
