From God’s Perspective
Luke 20:34-38
34 Jesus replied, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, 36 and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children since they are children of the resurrection. 37 But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’[a] 38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”
What’s more real A.- God’s perspective of life or
B.- Man’s perspective of life
Answer is of course from God’s perspective.
In other words we can not see reality as God’s sees it, we can only see a very distorted view of reality, distorted by our views and social beliefs etc.
What Luke 20:38 is saying is that dead and alive are the same to God, no different, we are really all alive but in different places. If you stop to think about it this body that we use on earth was made so we could be here on earth, it’s like what divers use to go diving into the ocean, they have to have their wetsuit their oxygen tanks etc, all they need to survive underwater, so do the astronauts in space when they do their spacewalks, they need a special suit to survive there, and once back on land they don’t need that special suit, same with this body made of almost mechanical parts, it has a pump, it has 3d camera and it has a lot other mechanisims to make it work here on earth and it has a brain that will help in it’s journey.
So from Gods perspective no matter if you put your diving suit or your astronaut suit or your flesh suit you are the same one, and when you are finally take off your flesh suit you will have to go where you are from originally, the flesh suit was just an instrument you needed to be able to live on earth and do your Mission.
