You Are The Light Of The World
Mathew 5;13-16
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
To all Christians;
Jesus expects you to be noticed as a Christian, if nobody in your family, work, or school knows you are a Christian you are not doing what Jesus wants from you.
If at work you have never talked to anybody about Jesus you are hiding the light.
If you think that by going to church every Sunday you have done enough for the glory of God you are mistaken, let Jesus shine in every corner of your life and that means opening your mouth and telling everybody that is willing to listen about Jesus.
Evangelism is not only for the Pastor or the missionaries it’s for everyone that has accepted Jesus, we all need to tell the people that we see every day about Jesus, starting with our family, then our friends then work or school place then anybody that crosses your path.
If you really believe that without Jesus a person when they die, they will go to a place of darkness and no light and no God you will do something about it, unless you don’t care, you have the information and you selfishly not share it with your loved ones, what kind of Christian are you.
But remember the life of a Christian is a life of love, without the love that comes from God through the Holy Spirit you are wasting your time.
