I desire mercy, not sacrifices

In Mathew 9:13 Jesus says “I desire mercy, not sacrifices”

There is one verse from the prophets that Jesus quotes twice in Matthew, and it is this one: “I desire mercy, not sacrifices.” Before you come to bring your sacrifices, I need to remind you that what God is really after is a change in your heart. He wants to see us show mercy the way God shows mercy.
For some reason we as humans have the tendency to get lost in the true meaning of the gospels and the true will of God, and then we end up thinking that what God wants is us to go to church every Sunday and sing the hymns in a very emotional way but then we return to our normal life at home or at work and we find ourselves being very judgmental and easy to give out sentences of condemnation, and we forget that what God wants is mercy and love, instead of judging go help in whatever way you can that person that you judged, show love and mercy.
