The Master Plan Of Jesus
There are a lot of things that Jesus taught that are either forgotten or just simply not given any importance, and this is one of them;
Jesus plan for all his followers was to make them extensions of him, just like he was an extension of His father God, he said several times that he was NOT who was doing the miracles but his father that lived in him, he was not the one talking when he preached to the crowds but it was God.
John 14:10
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own authority. But the Father who lives in Me does the works.
John 15;5
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without Me you can do nothing.
And when Thomas said “Just show us the father and we will be content, Jesus said “He who sees me sees the father, how long have i’ve been with you and you don’t know me” God was talking with Thomas not Jesus.
Jesus was two people in one body, he was Jesus and in occasions he was God. Imagine a person with two souls, but only one at a time can take over the will of the body they reside in, so at times God took over Jesus body, and at times it was Jesus, and that is what all followers are supposed to do also, that is why Jesus told his disciples when he sent them to the world to preach, he said ” Don’t think of anything to say, you will be told in that minute what to say” .
Jesus wanted to create a link from God to every person following Jesus, so everybody would be an extension of God.
But what is happening in the Christian world, people are not letting God talk thru them, they are talking themselves, an example is; When you do good to somebody in need and the person says “Thank You” you take the credit for the good deed, instead of glorifying Jesus you glorify yourselves. There can not be two taking the glory it is only one, God and Jesus. So how do you give glory to them, you tell people when they say thank you for helping me you say “Not me but Jesus that lives in me, thank him” By doing that you are bringing Jesus to that person. Whatever you do you have to do it in Jesus name, in Jesus name means in his representation, you are representing Jesus you are not representing yourself, if you say “Jesus did it not me” then the glory goes to Jesus.
So Jesus was saying that there is a link to God, in which everything comes from God flows to Jesus and then to us, but everything is done by God, even the words spoken by Jesus where not his but Gods, the miracles where not Jesus but God working through him and we should not think that we can do anything without being in the link, or a branch of the vine.
