Where Does Sin Reside

We all have heard on the news about a man that drove his car into a crowd of people with the intentions of killing them, turning his car into a weapon.
Who sinned, the car or the man?
of course the man, the car can not sin, it just does what the driver tells it to do.
Your body is the car and your soul is the driver of your body.
Your body can not sin……
Your body is just meat, it will not do anything, will not even move if you do not tell it to move.
Your body is without sin, and pure, on the other hand, your soul, which is you, does and can sin, it’s where all commands come from to direct your body to do things, either good or bad or in between.
So it’s really not very bright to blame your body for the sins you commit.
Everything starts in your soul (mind) not the brain, the brain is also just a part of your body that helps you navigate in this world, but it’s not you in reality, your real you is your soul, the part that will continue to live after your body dies.
You find that you can use your body to do whatever your soul wants, and in some cases what your soul wants its pleasure, nothing wrong with pleasure, it’s part of what God has given you when he gave you your body, BUT
the wrongdoing is when you take pleasure out of the natural to the unnatural, natural pleasure will not damage your body or soul, unnatural will damage your body and soul.
You can even use food and take it from being just a nutritional necessity into being the source of an unnatural pleasure, and the consequence can be deadly when taken to extremes, but your stomach is not to blame it’s you to blame, the same applies to anything you turn into a pleasure source that is not good for your body or soul.
So sin resides in your soul, and if you are thinking that when you die and you don’t have a body you are going to get rid of your body sins you are mistaken because your sins are in your soul not your body, you will take your bad habits with you.
Now sins like selfishness, envy, hate, etc this sins don’t have any links to your body they are 100% soul sins, and if you think you are going to get rid of them when you die you are mistaken again, you will still be the same selfish and envious person that you were before when alive, why would you be different, Jesus said that he would forgive you for your sins but you would have to change your ways.
The bible is your guide but life and the holy spirit are your teachers, and you have to prove that you have changed by passing the tests you will be put thru in life.
